- Drive the execution and delivery of product initiatives in partnership with Product and Design
- Shape the technical vision of the team and help guide architecture and design decisions
- Contribute to the codebase in your area of strength (frontend or backend), leading by example
- Support your team’s professional growth and career development
- Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, best practices and continuous improvement
- Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Foster a culture of ownership, trust, and psychological safety
- Participate in our on-call rotation (as needed)
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams in an agile, product-focused environment
- You have hands-on experience as a software engineer, with deep expertise in either web frontend (React, TypeScript) or backend (Golang) technologies
- You care deeply about people development, and are motivated by helping others grow and succeed
- You are comfortable working closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape user-centric solutions
- You understand the importance of data, experimentation and fast iteration
- You’re a strong communicator and know how to create alignment and clarity across teams
- You are fluent in English and enjoy working in diverse, collaborative environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in DevOps practices and cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, microservices, or domain-driven design
- Exposure to B2C platforms or high-traffic applications
- Experience in building engagement or recommendation systems
