Financial Controller EMEA – Villastellone (Torino)

Position Purpose:

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating cost of goods and inventory controlling, tracking, forecasting and reporting across the Region, acting as a point of reference for Global Supply Chain controlling.

Furthermore he/she will be responsible for providing management with the correlated insights, showing impact on profitability analysis through performance of the plants, cost trending analysis and inventory situation.

 

Key Accountabilities:

1)Functional coordination of the local Supply Chain Controllers for the activities related to COGS controlling such as raw and pack material costs variance analysis, plant conversion costs (variable and fixed labor, energy, maintenance etc.), inventory management and operations related CAPEX.

2)Liaise with Supply chain and Procurement managers to validate assumptions over COGS and share with general management to anticipate opportunities and risks.

3)Ensure development and implementation of supply chain controlling standards, processes and reporting though agreed KPIs.

4)Collect variance and performance analysis and prepare Regional and Global performance packs to provide insights about performance vs comparison scenarios.

5)Coordinate inventory valuation control including obsolete inventory monitoring and provision calculation as well as physical stock counts results and accounting adjustment into (stock/waste evaluation and monitoring).

Requirements

Qualifications & Education:

Master’s degree in Economics or Finance.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

– Knowledge of financial/cost controlling systems.

– 3-6 years’ experience in accounting designation.

– Experience in budgeting & planning.

– Strong capability to manage accounting and reporting issues.

– Capacity to adapt to a constantly changing environment and to deal effectively with conflicting priorities and deadlines.

– Strong analytical skills.

– Proficient English.
