STAGE Business Developer

Internal

Head of Europe&Africa, Business Development/Asset Management teams in the Countries of Europe&Africa Dept (Target Countries), Headquarters’ corporate and global functions.

To

Operational management of the local asset management activities according to the directives and guidelines given by the Head of O&M ROW (HROW) and his head office.

 

External

Developers, Landowners, Authorities and Local Bodies in Target Countries such as municipalities, electricity regulatory body, DSO, TSO, electricity market operator, industrial associations, others utilities and/or operators, etc.

 

To

 

Support local Business Development/Asset Management teams dealing all the permits, licenses and rights necessary for an efficient operation and maintenance of Iberdrola’s assets and companies in Target Countries.

 

Evaluate and hep to develop new business opportunities, participate in negotiations for co-development agreements, follow-up project pipeline development, owned projects from acquiring permits and right up to the ready-to-build status, etc. in Target Countries.

 

External advisors, authorities, local shareholders, local and institutional stakeholders and/or any other company operating in the energy sector at local level.

 

Locally support corporate departments of Iberdrola such us Administration and Control, Fiscal, Legal, Corporate Development, HR, General Services, etc. in order to follow-up and manage any issue in Target Countries.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Analysis of local asset management and project development issues in particular referring to land rights, permits, authorizations and environmental matters: to collect information, place in the applicable regulatory framework and perform the appropriate reporting.
  • Follow-up and support for Business Development/Asset Management teams’ and external advisors’ activities according to the guidelines received from Head of Europe&Africa.
  • Support and coordination for local Business Development/Asset Management teams in the following activities: annual budget drafting and economic monitoring of investment and expenditure.
  • Administrative support to Europe&Africa dept. and reporting of local Asset Management and Business Management activities.
  • Support and coordination for local Business Development/Asset Management teams in the relationship with Landowners, Authorities and Local Bodies in Target Countries such as municipalities, energy regulatory body, DSO, TSO, electricity market operator, industrial associations, others utilities and/or operators, etc.
  • Coordination of the local support to Iberdrola headquarter’s departments.
  • Support to prepare economic analysis for project acquisition, auction processes, negotiation and management co-development agreements

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

Academic Requirements (minimum necessary)

Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental/Industrial Engineering or similar.

 

Languages (Minimum Level Required)

English – High Negotiation

Spanish – High Negotiation

Italian – High Negotiation

 

Computer skills

Advanced skills and knowledge in MS Office Suite, familiarity with ERP platforms.
