Position purpose

• He/She will acquire the twice-weekly production plan draw up in the dashboard and re-processes it in terms of scheduling for individual Departments (Blending Tower, Oil packaging and Grease and special products). He/she will notify the Planner and the Production Manager of any problems, proposing the most appropriate solutions.
• He/She will collaborate with the Planner Team ((Bulk Planner, Packaging Planner, Raw Material Planner, Third Parts Planner) in verifying the availability of materials (raw materials and packaging) in order to ensure the feasibility of the planned production in compliance with delivery times and envisaged Plant stocks.

Key Accountabilities

• Managing issues due to contingencies on plant/ contingencies of an organizational nature interacting with Department Supervisors and reallocating the various productions.
• Interacting with S&OP to agree the medium-term analysis to verify, based on the plan and the horizon of visible orders, any misalignment between orders and capacity.
• Contributing to quarterly Plant stock takes in collaboration with the Operational Excellence Manager.
• Updates the production cycles in the System based on changes in production processes.
• Ensures updating of data (plant loads, performance, load curves, delay management, reminder management, etc.) in terms of “production progress”.
• Interacts with logistics to agree the “ready for departure” for shipping.
• Participates in Projects for improvement of Operations in a Lean Production perspective and collaborates to this end with the Continuous Improvement Manager.

Requirements

• Technical Degree.
• Knowledge of English (at least B2).
• Knowledge of cost management and production scheduling.
• Decision Making.
