Logistic Operator Specialist

We’re looking for a Logistic Operator Specialist to join our Procurement & Supply Chain Logistic Department who will join the Procurement Team at the Company’s headquarter in Genoa.


How you’ll live your ambition:

From our offices in Genoa, as a Logistic Operation Specialist,  you’ll be a key contributor to our Procurement Team. Your primary responsibility will be to plan transport and warehousing and manage all aspects of the logistic operations, including inventory management, stock control and travel arrangements. Success in this function means enhancements in operational effectiveness on project, department, and company-wide level.


Demonstrate your passion

  • You will play a pivotal role in in assessing what is the best offer to carry out the transport and organising it in all its stages and complexities, from document management to delivery. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to support to strategic planning, analysis and optimization of logistics processes.
  • In this role, you will have the chance to develop and implement effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
  • Thanks to our international environment, you will have the opportunity to interact with internal and external customer or service providers from all over the world.


Get things right

  • You will be in charge of organizing transports for providing Costa fleet including operational planning, control and follow up. This includes the managing various activities through different IT systems for delivering goods on board our Ships as well as the managing requests for transportation activities (by road, by container & by air)
  • You will be liable for the administration and of transport-related documents (Delivery Note, Packing List, Storage Location), in addiction you will support in cost control and invoice processing.
  • In this role, you will manage of logistical urgencies based on the request.

  • You gained a proven experience in the area of logistic which has enabled you to develop strong organizational skills.
  • You contributed to the management and monitoring of logistics procedures, optimizing them and controlling their quality level.
  • You are skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and affinity to IT system due to our own purchasing systems.
  • Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you are adept at dealing with different interlocutors.
  • As your distinctive feature, you focus on learning and research, welcoming feedback and ideas from others.
  • Your fluency in English knows no bounds, reflecting your action and openness to the world.
