 Trade Marketing Manager [Italy & FRIB] 

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

Are you interested in playing an active role in growing the LEGO Branded Channel, delivering world class retail marketing support to our “LEGO CERTIFIED STORES” (LCS) Italy, France & Iberia 

 

Core Responsibilities  

Work hand in hand with LCS Sr. Retail Marketing on omnichannel trade marketing projects related to the LEGO Certified Store (LCS) – our own stores network – in Italy, France and in Iberia.  

In collaboration with the local and international LCS team, you will: 

 

  • Define, develop and execute the activation calendar and ensure the best shopper and consumer instore experience.   
  • Set-up and follow-up the instore execution & drive excellence.    
  • Support the new LCS stores opening & refit to build and put in place a coherent 360° marketing plan. 
  • Measure trade marketing spend effectiveness: analyze and write improvement recommendations.   
  • Proactively own & drive After Action Reviews of delivered campaigns to identify what’s working / what’s not and inspire change.   
  • Be expert of the shopper, seek insights through studies, news articles, etc.  
  • Bring the outside in – proactively look for retail marketing innovations in physical & Omni-channel opportunities   
  • Work closely with brand management, customer development, sales, field sales and regional team.  
  • Prepare trade marketing presentations for internal/external alignments.

As part of the Sales department, this role is part of the LCS function reporting to the Channel Director. Your role will be key in this team: you’ll help us develop the utmost shopper experience of LEGO across South European markets. 

 

We currently have stores in: 

  • Italy: 25 stores  
  • France : 12 stores  
  • Spain : 6 stores  
  • Portugal : 2 store  

 

Do you have what it takes? 

 

  • Proven experience within a retail/marketing role. 
  • Commercial savvy – operates with a scarcity & efficiency approach. Proactively seeks to identify areas of how / where TM investments can be optimized to improve returns for the company.   
  • A strong collaborator across subject areas and hierarchies to effectively steer a wide range of internal and external partners.   
  • Takes initiative, recognizes and acts on opportunities. Ability to evolve in a sophisticated international environment in constant evolution.   
  • Drive for results – desire to drive productive change, comfortable managing multiple projects, energy and ability to problem solve.   
  • Fact-based and Insights Driven working style.  
  • Strong team spirit with willingness to support other team members.  
  • Proficient in English [French and/or Spanish nice to have]
