We are looking for a candidate to join the Cybersecurity team at Worldline Merchant Services Italia. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating and addressing security aspects in collaboration with other teams, while balancing the company’s short, medium, and long-term objectives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Ensure the implementation of IT solutions that provide adequate IT and cybersecurity safeguards and measures consistent with the reference context (type of data, services, etc.) and in line with mandatory requirements and industry best practices;
- Actively participate in the security analysis of solutions that involve the IT use of data, analyzing them with respect to the reference context and the types of applicable threats, defining technological measures aimed at ensuring appropriate protection in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA);
- Analyze IT security assessment activities (Vulnerability, PenTest, SAST, DAST, etc.) evaluating them with respect to the reference context, participating in the definition of the related remediation plans, and directing them according to a risk-based approach;
- Formulate and execute tailored cloud security strategies and policies aligned with corporate guidance and our cloud security and enterprise architecture standards;
- Design cloud reference architectures that safeguard data and applications hosted in the cloud from unauthorized access, breaches, and other potential threats, ensuring information integrity and confidentiality;
- Support periodic security assessments and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and developing effective countermeasures to strengthen cyber defenses, and address security policies for cloud services and applications.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline. Alternatively, highly qualifying alternative training courses (e.g. Masters/certifications obtained);
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the role of Security Architect;
- Consolidated knowledge of several cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS);
- Experience in the analysis and definition of IT security architecture and technology requirements;
- Knowledge of service-oriented architectures and authentication/authorization protocols (REST, SOAP, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, etc.);
- Ability to assess risks and vulnerabilities of cloud infrastructures and define and apply appropriate mitigation measures;
- Knowledge in designing and implementing secure and resilient cloud architectures, following best practices and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, etc;
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud security platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, with expertise in safeguarding cloud-based environments;
- Knowledge of key cloud security frameworks and tools, such as Identity and Access Management, Encryption, Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc;
- Experience in the analysis of IT security risks on project initiatives;
- Experience conducting thorough security assessments and developing appropriate remediation plans;
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Excel and Access in particular); Knowledge of database access languages (e.g. SQL Python, etc) is preferred;
- Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CCA or AWS and Azure security certifications will be considered a plus.
- English language (at least B2 level);
