GROUP INTERNAL AUDITOR

Mission:

Verify that the Group Companies transactions and related behaviors are carried out according to laws (when required) and to Group/Companies Document System as well as support the Function in the identification of the proper controls to prevent fraud and control embezzlement.

Main Activities & Responsibilities:

Following the guidelines of the Responsible, the Group Internal Auditor has the following main responsibilities:

  • execute compliance, financial and operational audits based on the strategic internal audit plan and in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework of the Institute of Internal Auditors and with the Group/Companies Document System;
  • guarantee the timely and accurate completion of the assigned audit work;
  • analyze policies, procedures, organizational chart, activation levels matrices and more in general the Group/Companies Document System, to develop a thorough understanding of business processes in scope for assigned audits;
  • prepare and execute work programs to evaluate the design and the implementation of the control environment over the processes under review, to share with the Responsible;
  • identify and prevent major business risks;
  • participate in developing internal audit reports;
  • execute follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions, where necessary.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
  • Italian and English C1 level.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of Internal Audit experience preferably in structured and complex EPC/industrial environment or Big;
  • Knowledge of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA);
  • Knowledge of the Internal Audit methodology: preliminary analysis, opening meeting, fieldwork, closing meeting, audit report and follow up;
  • Strong reporting skills;
  • CIA certification is a plus.

  • Excellent Communication skills and ability to be concise in sharing information with operative audiences;
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain a high-quality working relationship with a wide range of contacts;
  • At ease in a multicultural environment and availability to travel.
