GRID PROJECT SPECIALIST (Electrical infrastructures, Substations and Communications)

1. ORGANIZACIÓN/DEPARTAMENTO (Misión, Funciones y responsabilidades)
The mission of the Grid Department is to perform the correct execution (in terms of engineering, safety, quality, planning and budget) and the commissioning of the electrical infrastructures for the connection to public grids of Iberdrola’s renewable generation plants.

Responsible for the supervision and correct execution of the projects of electrical power lines and substations, inside the organization of Iberdrola Renovables in Italy FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES (Se describirán en, orden de importancia (hasta un máximo de CINCO), las funciones más significativas que deben desarrollarse para el correcto cumplimiento de la misión encomendada)
Support the Business Development department during the development phase up to reach the permits to start the activities on site.
Coordinate with engineering department during the development of the Tender Engineering to perform the preliminary check on field.
Management of the Procurement Phase of BOP-EPC and/or Framework Agreement for Grid Activities, in collaboration with Purchase Department: bid packages preparation, coordination of the review of the engineering documentation, review of the Purchase Conditions, Technical evaluations of the offers.
Support the management and execution of the contracts: guarantee the correct execution of the works by the contractors from engineering phase up to the hand over to O&M Department. Define and control the Project execution, controlling and approving the work in progress and the invoicing of the contractor’s scope and the incurred out of scope.
Promotes improvement of procedures and work execution manuals, adapting them to the needs of Iberdrola Renovables in Italy, giving feedback to engineering and helping the standardization in the future installations.
