Barilla Region Italy is looking for a D2C Supply Chain Professional to join the Personalization team.

JOB PURPOSE

The position holder will be responsible to regularly produce short, medium and long-term forecasts, in relation to volumes expected for shipment and turnover volumes, pointing out any gaps versus targets.
He/she will contribute to the overall business turnover through a good supplier’s management (internal and outsourced) and a precise forecast that secures products availability, optimal level of service and minimum costs.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Monitor the product’s stock and managing the product’s orders for our plants and warehouses
  • Forecast the sale demand. Generate the forecast, with details by item, by week and by processing   frequency – in line with planning processes and to allow Supply Chain to deploy them into production plans.
  • Manage the 3PL (logistic in outsourcing)
  • Manage the supplier’s network and negotiate production’s plans / orders / delivery
  • Analysis about logistic flows and process to find improvements and new optimizations
  • Frequent monitoring of D2C orders to have evidence of logistics issues and to define fastly related solutions
  • Define new logistic’s flows and processes related to the continuously evolving D2C offering and the involvement of new suppliers.
  • Constantly monitor the forecasts accuracy and their progress versus targets, looking for areas of continuous improvement.
  • Frequent interactions with packaging, marketing, customer service, finance, administration
  • Use internal dashboards to monitor and analyze business performances/stock values/supplier’s activities (SAP/POWER BI/EXCEL)
  • Open code for new dedicated items and for new clients/suppliers
  • Create and manage purchase and sales orders
  • Regularly produce analysis and reports relevant to Demand Planning, as well as in support to the Marketing management team
  • Administration and accounting tasks for all D2C activities (definizione listini, rendicontazioni e fatturazioni)

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Management Engineering Degree
  • Ability to prioritize and manage complex and multiple tasks, with a “can do” attitude
  • Attention to details and excellent analytical skills
  • Strong solution based problem-solving
  • Good interpersonal skills and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in D2C Supply Chain is a plus
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Mental agility, proactivity and openness to challenges/changes

  • Location: Parma
  • Type of contract: local contract, full-time, hybrid working.
