Job Description
The Data Technologies, Analytics & BI Solutions team’s mandate is to design, build, and operate scalable Data, AI, and Cloud products and platform services, engineered for reliability, reuse, and long-term sustainability. The team mission is produce fully engineered, product-oriented platforms that enable measurable and repeatable business value at scale. The team owns the end-to-end engineering foundations required for industrialization: reference architectures, shared platforms, data governance enablers, AI engineering practices, reliability standards, security controls, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
Operating within a tech-inspired model, the team collaborates closely with other IT internal structures (such as Innovation, AI & IT Governance) while maintaining a clear mandate: transforming validated initiatives into robust, operable, and economically sustainable products, with the clear objective of ensuring that what reaches production is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the long-term digital engineering backbone required to support growth, adoption, and financial sustainability.
The selected candidate will:
- Own end-to-end delivery and product evolution of one or more specific assets within the Data Technologies portfolio (e.g., Data Platform, Service Portal, AI & Data Products), in a specific business domain, acting as the single point of accountability for that asset.
- Gather, qualify, and prioritize business demand coming from Operations, Research, Investments, Risk, Compliance and other stakeholders, translating it into a coherent backlog and roadmap aligned with the capacity assigned to the asset.
- Translate business needs into engineering-ready requirements, refining scope and acceptance criteria with the engineering streams, and challenging feasibility, estimates, and trade-offs.
- Coordinate cross-team delivery across Platform Engineering, Data & AI Engineering, Infrastructure & Platform Engineering, and Analytics & BI: scope, milestones, dependencies, releases, and risk management.
- Partner with the Leads of the engineering streams to align capacity, sequencing, and technical direction; broker resource allocation conflicts and dependency trade offs.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and engineering streams, ensuring expectations are aligned, decisions are made on time, and escalations are surfaced early.
- Run program-level activities: roadmap reviews, planning cycles, status updates, risk and dependency reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.
- Define and monitor KPIs for the asset – time-to-delivery, adoption, value realization, quality, and cost – producing executive-grade reporting for the Head of Data Technologies, Analytics & BI Solutions.
- Oversee the productization of validated initiatives into industrialized, scalable, and economically sustainable products, from MVP to full rollout.
- Coordinate vendors, partners, and external suppliers contributing to the asset’s delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and contractual compliance.
- Continuously improve delivery practices, agile rituals, tooling, and engineering operating model within the team.
- Scout opportunities for innovation on the asset (e.g., GenAI, agentic workflows, automation, FinOps) and translate them into roadmap initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in delivery management, program/project management, or technical product management within technology-driven organizations or consultancy firms.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Solid background in software, data, or solution engineering (e.g., as a former engineer, solution designer, or analyst) enabling effective dialogue with senior technical stakeholders and the ability to critically assess complex technical proposals.
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-team programs with parallel engineering streams and multiple business stakeholders.
- Strong product management capability: demand intake, prioritization frameworks, roadmap building, stakeholder alignment, and value tracking.
- Mastery of Agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and of project/program management methodologies and tooling (Jira, Gitlab, or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of modern cloud, data, and AI architectures (data platforms, lakehouse, MLOps, GenAI, microservices, APIs) at the level required to read trade offs, not to design them.
- Experience working in regulated environments, preferably financial services (asset management, banking, or insurance).
Nice to have:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or MBA.
- Domain knowledge of the asset management value chain (Front Office, Trading, Middle/Back Office, Risk, Compliance, Analytics & Reporting).
- Certifications in program/product management or agile delivery (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, PSM, Product Owner, ITIL).
- Familiarity with FinOps, vendor and contract management, and budget governance.
Main expected skills:
- Outstanding stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills with both business and engineering audiences, up to senior leadership.
- Strong product mindset: customer-centric, outcome-oriented, value-driven.
- Excellent prioritization and trade-off skills
- Strategic thinking combined with execution discipline and bias to delivery.
- Ability to lead and exert influence across multidisciplinary teams
- Innovative mindset and intellectual curiosity, comfortable with ambiguity and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective facilitator of planning, design, and decision-making
- Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
- Strong coaching mindset and mentoring approach to project teams and counterparts, fostering growth and capability building.
