IT Business Analyst – SAP IBP

  • STMicroelectronics is looking for an IT Business Analyst, within the DTIT ERP Supply Chain organization.
  • The ideal candidate has a technical profile, with good analytical and communication skills. An experience in the implementation of SAP IBP and SAP S/4 solutions is considered a plus for the selection, as well as the knowledge of the DDMRP planning methodology. The person will be in charge to understand the business user needs, proposing solutions aligned with the IT architecture principles relevant for the Supply Chain Execution area. They will analyze and translate the user requirements or technical change requests into functional specifications, to enable the technical teams to implement the final solution, also supporting them during the development life cycle. Other key duties will be the validation of the solutions delivered by the development teams or external suppliers and the coordination of the System Integration Tests and User Acceptance Tests, managing the cross functional impacts. The business analyst will also contribute to specific projects, as part of the project team or being in charge to manage assigned work packages. The ideal candidate should have: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent 3-5 years of SAP professional experience (on IBP and S/4 modules) Supply Chain processes (planning execution, order to cash) IT process knowledge on Waterfall model and Agile methodology Analytical ability to translate requirements into design documents Problem solving and proactive attitude, to address root cause analysis Interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, to drive the business users and the internal IT implementation team on the common objectives. English fluency Basic knowledge of UNIX environment Word, Power Point and Excel basic functionalities for data analysis
