GOSP – Generali Operations Service Platform is a joint-venture between Generali and Accenture and provides IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies. Our purpose is to accelerate the Group’s innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms. Based in Italy it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about 1.000 people.
Group Analytics & Automation Platform Architect and Service Manager, responsible for managing the Group SaaS and PaaS platforms offering Advanced Analytics and Smart Automation services to the local Business Units, evolving its architecture, operating model, and applications by using the most advanced technological solutions to maximize the software quality, introducing test automation, optimize the service levels, and minimize the operating costs.
Main tasks:
- You will define the service architecture and drive the software industrialization based on the requirements of the Group Advanced Analytics and Automation Solutions Unit
- You will be in charge of the end-to-end service management, including incident management, vulnerability management, budget management, and coordination of all relevant IT functions (e.g. security)
- You will continuously evolve the platform by using the most advanced technological solutions, including the creation of serverless services, the use of GPUs, and the automation of operations
- Collaborating with the Group Advanced Analytics and Automation Solutions Unit, you will evolve, the operating model to continuously improve and enrich the service portfolio offered to the local Business Units
Requirements & skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in managing Unix / Linux systems in continuous production environments
- Experience in data and/or analytics platform architectural design, maintenance and evolution
- Experience in designing cloud native applications and managing the cloud infrastructure of major service providers (e.g. GCP, AWS)
- Experience in managing applications written in Python, related to analytics and artificial intelligence
- Experience in defining, implementing, deploying and delivering software architectures based on the Docker / Kubernetes stack or equivalent implementation provided by third parties
- Experience in the preparation and maintenance of application monitoring stack for cloud architectures, preferably with alerting mechanisms
- Knowledge of the main CI / CD toolchains and tools for the automation of configuration and deployment of software and infrastructure as code
- Professional working English (CEFR reference B2)
Furthermore, you are an ideal candidate if you have:
- Certification as SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer or equivalent issued by one of the major cloud providers and current at the date of application
- Certification as Solution Architect or equivalent issued by one of the main cloud providers and current at the date of application
- Experience in the management of distributed architectures for batch and real-time data processing, data streaming and data integration platforms
- Experience in the automation of tests and progressive release techniques, preferably on customer-facing applications
- Experience working with multicultural international teams
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering or other qualification preparatory to software design and development
