We are looking for Graduates who will join the Headquarter Group Administrative Services Team, with a focus on one of the following projects. These projects will give you the opportunity to work on a mix of activities, with the goal of better understanding both the “rules of the game” in the traditional accounting field (and its several areas) and the Barilla traditional and new businesses:

1-GROUP ACCOUNTING & REPORTING MANUAL REVISION
Each company in the market, especially the biggest ones like Barilla, has a set of rules based on which the accounting events are booked. The Accounting & Reporting Manual summarizes these rules. It’s time for Barilla to review these Manuals, collecting all the latest news, organizing them in a “friendly” manner, adopting new and more practical methods.

2-INTEGRATED ACCOUNTING PROJECT
The successful candidate will support the daily operations of analysis and management of technical problems connected to the correct allocation of bonuses which contribute to determining the value of the group’s Net Sales. He/she will also perform the analysis of the main types of discounts, the related accounting treatment and the correlation with the balance sheet items (net sales) in order to prepare a procedure that describes the different peculiarities at European level in terms of provisions, use, accounting treatment and risk management tax.

3-ADMINISTRATIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROJECT

Nurturing trustful relations with customers is essential to grow our business. Within this assumption, a fair management of the claim process is crucial to provide them with a flawless service. In the last period, due to several external factors, we are observing an increase of the number of claims. In this scenario it’s time for Barilla to map and analyze in details the different types of claims managed, the end to end process, the different stakeholders involved and the related figures.

4-MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING/EPM-TAX CUBE/FINANCIAL PLANNING PROJECT
The recent acquisition generated some critical points in integration processes (EPM & Tagetik) that need to be analyzed in order to produce correct reports. Starting from allocative rules, through mapping tables, using new Market Unit, the project will aim at fully integrate the new brand and the new legal entity.
